It's more than likely there are multiple bags of coffee somewhat open on your counter at any given time. It can be challenging to figure out which to brew. This coffee has a wide variety of brew methods and is honestly easy to sip when you’re not ready to make decisions just yet.

Sweet and sturdy melon sweetness is the first sip of Denilson Madrid. It's carried in a milk chocolate-like body and undeniably rich and creamy. For those who like a good pairing coffee with food, this is a great option. It also has a wide range of use, from Espresso to classic pot of coffee; this is an excellent go-to.

  • Farmlevel Story

    Farmlevel

Fourth-generation coffee farmer Denilson Madrid is the son of our long-time Farmlevel partner Franklin Madrid (best known for Verve favorites, La Fortuna and La Patepluma). Rooted in coffee-growing culture and excellence, it’s no surprise that Denilson has big ambitions for his very own 5-hectare plot, La Peña. This plot is situated right beside two of our other all-time favorites, El Niño and La Colmena. Here, divided by an iconic pink-flower-lined pathway, Denilson grows multiple varieties of coffee such as Catuai, Bourbon, Parainema, and this offering of Pacas.

Since Denilson grows many varieties, it is essential to explain how this new offering is different. Pacas is a natural mutation of Bourbon. This variety was discovered in El Salvador and then introduced to the country of Honduras by IHCAFE in 1974. While this coffee variety can be found widely among the country, it is sturdy and high-yielding, but of all the origins that can be cupped, this variety brings a certain chocolatey sweet cup.
