STORY

Year-in, year-out, Vancouver Decaf seeks to deliver a dessert-like complexity made possible by a delicate balance of Ugandan and Colombian coffees.

This decaf has all of the flavor with none of the caffeine. We've chosen to decaffeinate our Vancouver decaf using the Swiss Water® Process to showcase our carefully sourced coffees. 

Both coffees undergo processing using water to remove caffeine without removing flavor. Once complete, they are blended back together to create the perfect decaffeinated blend. This blend proves you don't need caffeine to enjoy the best coffee in the world.

Coffee producers have their own methods that can make coffee special. We will always highlight our producers, cooperatives, and washing stations to provide farmlevel traceability.

Cultivar

Each cultivar has its own flavor profile. Not only is the taste different, but the actual coffee plant is different. Even the shape of the bean will vary between cultivars.

Processing Method

Coffee processing is crucial to the taste in the cup. Processing is done by the producer during the drying process. Most of our coffees are washed, but we always call out natural, honey, and experimental processes.

Elevation

Most of our coffees come from high elevation farms. Different cultivars thrive under different environmental factors. The elevation is a huge part of how well certain coffees will grow.

Brewing Suggestions

The Vancouver Blend is so good, you’ll be fooled into thinking that it’s a regular cup. I’m not even being biased when I say that it’s the best decaf coffee on the market. When I want a cup before bed, but I don’t want to be overly caffeinated, Vancouver is my go-to.
