Behind the Cup

Grown between 1,900 and 2,200 meters in Ethiopia, Nano Challa is a washed coffee produced by the Nano Challa cooperative. A Penagos eco-pulper helps reduce water use during processing. The coffee is then dried under shade before being moved into direct sunlight.

Each coffee is roasted to order. Orders ship within 2 business days.

Farmlevel Story

Nano Challa Cooperative brings together approximately 400 smallholder farmers in Ethiopia. With support from TechnoServe, the cooperative developed shared processing facilities that allow members to bring their harvests together and prepare their coffees for export.

This investment has given local growers access to equipment and resources that support their work, helping the cooperative build a foundation for producing high-quality washed coffees.
