Kubwa offers a broader view, bringing together the work of producers across Kenya’s central coffee-growing regions rather than focusing on a single factory or community.
The name Kubwa, meaning “big” in Swahili, reflects the scale of the lot and the many producers behind it. Together, their coffees create a regional expression of Kenya’s fresh crop, offering a different perspective on an origin often celebrated through its smallest and most specific lots.
