The Benitez family has cultivated coffee in Santa Bárbara for generations, with Juan and his brother operating neighboring farms in the Cielito community. Continued investment in processing, including upgraded fermentation infrastructure, has increased both capacity and consistency while supporting quality improvements.


Coffee is dry fermented before washing and drying on raised beds, a careful approach that helps maintain sweetness and structure. The result is a coffee that preserves the dense sweetness and structure that have made Santa Bárbara coffees increasingly sought after.
