Grown at 1,800 meters in Huila, a region closely associated with Pink Bourbon, this washed lot highlights the delicate character of the variety. Careful cultivation and processing preserve its fruit expression and lively acidity, creating a coffee with defined sweetness, smooth structure, and a clean finish.

Farmlevel Story
José Martínez Guzmán grew up in Palestina, Huila, learning coffee agronomy and processing from his parents. After leaving the farm as a teenager to work as a bus driver, José eventually found his way back to coffee, purchasing his father’s farm and returning home to continue the family’s work.
Today, José reinvests coffee profits in maintaining the farm and improving its drying infrastructure, an approach that has earned recognition at the highest levels of Colombian specialty coffee. In 2021, his washed Pink Bourbon placed fifth in Colombia’s Cup of Excellence. Beyond coffee, José is known for his warm personality and love of dogs. During Verve’s 2024 visit, more than sixteen dogs could be found around the farm.
