Bekele Belaycho farms in Ethiopia’s Sidama region, where coffee cultivation has shaped both the landscape and local communities for generations. Drawing on years of experience, and with significant help from his family, he focuses on careful harvesting and drying practices that allow each lot to express the character of Sidama. Bekele also works closely with neighboring smallholder producers, extending his focus on quality beyond his own farms.

Natural processing remains an important tradition throughout Sidama, where cherries are dried slowly on raised beds under close supervision. This coffee reflects Bekele’s commitment to quality and the careful craftsmanship that continues to define some of Ethiopia’s most expressive coffees.
