I lead a very busy life and I need a coffee that can keep up with me. It seems very normal for people to have different coffees for different reasons, but I’d rather have something consistent in the midst of a dynamic life. I need a coffee I can get to know, a coffee that can meet me where I am. I love the Honduras Miraflores; it literally reminds me to take a step back and look at the flowers.
In the café, Miraflores is a beautiful shot, syrupy molasses that becomes toffee with milk. As espresso alone, it coats the tongue and leaves a pleasant aftertaste that I’m excited to serve to customers. After work, it becomes my dessert cappuccino; the caramelized sugars are highlighted and I sometimes forget I’m drinking coffee.
Miraflores really shines for me at home when I make slow pour overs to wake up with my wife. Our furry friends recognize the routine and greet us in the morning. Nothing beats such a great coffee with great company, in and out of the coffee shop.
We believe the coffee experience is our responsibility from seed to cup. Coffee is our craft, our ritual, our passion. It drives us and inspires us. With this simple truth and responsibility we are bridging the gap from farmlevel to streetlevel.
