This coffee marks the first time Roberto Miranda’s work is offered as a single origin rather than part of a blend, reflecting steady improvements in quality and consistency. Washed processing and the Parainema cultivar emphasize clarity and restraint, allowing citrus and sweetness to stay present without becoming sharp. Grown at moderate elevation, the profile favors balance and ease, delivering a clean, classic expression of Honduran coffee.

Farmlevel Story


Roberto Miranda returned to El Cedral after years working in the textile industry, driven by the goal of building a future in coffee. Three years ago, he began purchasing farms that had previously belonged to his father-in-law, gradually taking full ownership and responsibility for production. Today, he manages four farms, including La Quebrada and El Manguito, where Parainema thrives around 1,400 meters.


Without his own mill or drying beds, Roberto rents local infrastructure while closely overseeing washed processing. Each year since taking over, he has made changes that have led to steady improvements in quality and consistency. In 2024, Verve purchased 100 percent of his coffee, and this year marks the first time it is offered on its own as a single origin. Alongside his wife, Roberto continues to reinvest in the farm with the goal of supporting his family entirely through coffee.
