We tasted sweet stone fruit and a layer of chocolate throughout the body. All coated in a dense, honey-like mouthfeel.

A member of Santa Barbara’s famed Moreno family, Jairon (or “El Niño”), purchased his parcel of farmland off of Arturo Paz’s La Colmena, who claimed it was “too high to farm.” We’re lucky that Jairon is as devoted to producing high-elevation coffee as we are to drinking it, and we’re ever thankful to him and his dream for bringing to-life one of the highest-grown expressions of catuai in the Las Flores region. Jairon, along with many of our other Santa Barbara farmlevel partners, represents a generation of young coffee producers in the Santa Barbara region committed to producing world-class specialty coffee. When not overseeing harvest at his Las Flores farm, he can be found contributing to the milling and export of his, and his neighboring farmers’, coffees at the Beneficio San Vicente dry mill.
We believe the coffee experience is our responsibility from seed to cup. Coffee is our craft, our ritual, our passion. It drives us and inspires us. With this simple truth and responsibility we are bridging the gap from farmlevel to streetlevel.
