STORY

The streets of Antigua, Guatemala

Finca Candelaria is found in the municipality of Alotenango, on the slopes of Volcan Alotenango near Antigua. In previous years, coffee from Alotenango had been sold as coffee from Antigua due to the success of the region in producing a stand out cup year after year. Recently, Alotenango has been recognized as a distinct and valuable micro-region. It benefits from the volcanic topography of the area and its relation to the Caribbean sea. 

Coffee from this region is unique and expressive and has been featured on our menu for the past eight years. Select lots of Candelaria have been featured in our Streetlevel blend, bringing in layers of caramelized sweetness.
