Farmlevel Story
Farmlevel
Since Maria was young, all she has ever wanted to do was pick coffee. She dropped out of school for that very reason. When you look at her hands, you see the years and the countless harvests riddled into her calluses and cracks similar to that of rings in a tree full of stories and wisdom. Because of this love of coffee, instead of giving the farm to her brothers, her father left Finca San Isidro, named after farmers Isidore’s patron saint, to Maria Cristina.
As if we need more proof of her dedication and love for her craft, Maria Cristina built a fermentation tank that she uses for 18 hours after picking and a covered patio that she uses to dry her coffee for 15 days after being washed with the earnings from her 2017 harvest. The following year in 2018, she built a new warehouse to store her coffee. Year after year, Maria invests back into her farm, and year after year, her coffee gets better and better.
Never run out of coffee again.
