It’s not often we have a Peruvian offering on the menu, and this is our first year carrying coffee from Yoner Guerrero. This coffee delivers notes of crisp white grape, a mild tartness of nectarine, and finishes with the balanced sweetness of red apple.
Sweetness frequently characterizes Peruvian coffees. They have a crisp-like finish and pair well with your milk of choice. Ideal for those seeking mild acidity and a clean finish.

Yoner Celis Guerrero’s three hectares farm resides in the village of el Diamante in San Jose de Lourdes. Yoner primarily grows Caturra but in recent years has planted other varieties such as Catuai and Castillo. Though he prefers to pick coffee cherries himself, family members and hired workers help select only the ripest cherries during peak harvest. From there, harvested cherries transport over to Yoner's small wet mill, where he has a motorized hand pulper, a small fermentation tank, and a drying patio. The coffee is immediately pulped in the evening and fermented from 24 to 36 hours. After washing, the coffee is finally placed on a lined patio to dry for about ten days.
