Dimtu’s reach spans exporting, estate farming, managing processing facilities, and very in-depth smallholder and outgrower programs. We've consistently found outstanding quality from their growers. The support and consideration for smallholders are among the most impressive we have seen. When coffee cherries are delivered to one of the eight collection stations, each farmer receives extensive training by on-site technicians. They will receive personalized education on the best organic farming practices, sustainability strategies, and quality training. In addition, farmers are provided with seedlings, organic fertilizers, and native shade tree seedlings to help revitalize the vulnerable local tree varieties. Each year, an annual report is conducted by Dimtu to track farmers’ status on various projects such as erosion susceptibility, organic inspections, and projected production. Working together has been a mutually beneficial relationship. Many farmers are able to achieve a very competitive premium over other local cherries because of the support and knowledge from this partnership. In turn, Dimtu has nearly doubled its smallholder members from 280 to 450 across the eight collection stations in just a short two years.
This coffee works perfectly as your everyday espresso or as a brewed coffee. This version we have been liking pulled fast and medium in output.

Good coffee as Usual
Verve roast a fine bean, always recommend.
Good. Not particularly fragrant or flavorful like the Bela Bela is. I am used to Ethiopeans being very fragrant, earthy and juicy. This was good but not great. Very underwhelming. Perhaps I don;t know how to dial it in.
We believe the coffee experience is our responsibility from seed to cup. Coffee is our craft, our ritual, our passion. It drives us and inspires us. With this simple truth and responsibility we are bridging the gap from farmlevel to streetlevel.
