This coffee has classic traits of decadent cocoa powder, followed by an almost black licorice body. This would be great to pair with a cocktail as the base.

This is our second offering from Tanzania. These coffees are sweet and have a lot of spice characteristics. If you enjoyed Tanzania Korongo, please give this one a try.

    Farmlevel

    The Mwika North Farmer group started in 1984 first as a cooperative, and in 2004 it became one of the first organic certified producer groups in the Kilimanjaro region. They produce around 61,000 pounds of green coffee at their mill. Their cooperative consists of 922 small holding farmers that deliver their cherries to the mill for processing. Their bean size is both AA and AB grade, and this particular offering consists of Peaberries where a cherry has one dense seed instead of two, which is reflective in the size of the coffee bean. The farm consists of 370 acres and primarily washed process coffees. Their most significant endeavor is to open up even more of a market by becoming Certified organic.
